Role Overview
Our client is a well-established, global organization providing behavioral health, well-being, and workforce support services to large enterprise customers, including many Fortune 500 companies. The organization supports millions of individuals worldwide and is trusted across a broad range of industries due to the sensitive and regulated nature of the services it delivers.
The Product organization is transforming how products are built, moving to an AI-native product development lifecycle that spans discovery through delivery in close partnership with Engineering and Design. As services historically delivered by Operations and Customer Success teams are turned into digital products, frontline knowledge from those teams is becoming a critical input into product decisions.
This is a high-leverage role for a Senior Product Manager who already integrates AI tools throughout the product lifecycle. The role emphasizes judgment — framing problems, validating what AI surfaces, and deciding what matters — over manual research, drafting, and synthesis, which AI now accelerates. The successful candidate will use AI assistants (such as Claude or ChatGPT) daily to speed up research, requirements, and prototyping, applying product judgment to the output before it shapes the roadmap.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the full product lifecycle — discovery, requirements, prioritization, delivery, and validation — with AI reshaping how time is spent within each stage
- Set product strategy and roadmap for a business unit, including priorities and tradeoffs, and align leadership and cross-functional teams around it
- Direct AI-accelerated discovery rather than manual synthesis — turning customer interviews, support tickets, competitor material, and market research into insights, then applying judgment to what's actually true and what matters
- Draft requirements (PRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria) with AI assistance, then own the judgment calls on scope, edge cases, dependencies, and prioritization before the team builds
- Use AI tools to generate interactive mockups and working demos to test ideas with stakeholders and users before committing engineering effort
- Direct AI to analyze usage and product data and generate hypotheses; decide what's worth an experiment and own the success metrics
- Engage directly with customers and internal customer-facing teams, bringing product thought leadership to sales, customer success, and business development conversations
- Collaborate with other Product Managers on prompts, templates, and guardrails for AI use, and help hold the team accountable for accuracy, bias, and privacy — particularly with sensitive, regulated data
Education & Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience owning products end to end — strategy, roadmap, and execution — not just a slice of someone else's
- Deep technical acumen and a genuine partnership with Engineering, with enough command of system constraints and tradeoffs to make sound calls independently
- Strong backlog discipline: writing detailed stories, prioritizing under pressure, and unblocking a cross-functional team without becoming its bottleneck
- Analytical, data-driven approach to problem-solving, with experience working in an Agile environment and driving initiatives through influence rather than authority
- Daily, hands-on use of AI assistants (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT) for research synthesis, PRD/story drafting, prototyping, or data analysis, with concrete examples of catching AI errors before they shipped
- Sound judgment about when to trust AI output and when not to, including real awareness of hallucination risk, bias, and data-privacy considerations — especially with regulated or sensitive data
Preferred Experience
- Experience in healthcare, behavioral health, insurance, or another regulated, data-sensitive industry
- A track record of helping teams adopt new tools and ways of working, raising the floor for AI fluency across a broader team
