About the Job

Our client is an elite, venture-backed, high-growth technology startup that is completely disrupting enterprise workflows through cutting-edge, AI-driven data intelligence platforms. We are seeking a relentless, highly entrepreneurial Forward-Deployed Engineer to serve as our primary technical vanguard on the front lines of customer acquisition and deployment.

Why Join Us

- The Ultimate Tech Accelerator: FDE roles at a startup offer unparalleled career velocity. You will solve the most complex, unpredictable engineering problems in tech while gaining rare executive-level commercial exposure.

- Massive Autonomy & Impact: Avoid corporate bureaucracy. You will have full ownership of mission-critical deployments where your architectural decisions directly impact millions in startup revenue and client success.

- Silicon Valley Culture: Work alongside world-class engineers in a highly collaborative, fast-moving environment that prioritizes shipped code and raw problem-solving capability over rigid corporate structures.

Responsibilities

- Tactical Production Engineering: Write clean, production-grade, and scalable full-stack code (typically using Python, Go, TypeScript, and React) to build custom integrations, data pipelines, and missing feature bridges that allow our product to interface seamlessly with massive client infrastructure.

- On-Site Integration & Deployment: Travel to and embed with strategic enterprise clients to spearhead the deployment of our platform across diverse, highly secure environments (including multi-cloud AWS/GCP/Azure setups, on-premise servers, and hybrid architectures).

- Technical Discovery & Architecture: Lead deep-dive discovery sessions with client CTOs, Chief Data Officers, and Enterprise Architects to map their existing data landscapes, evaluate technical constraints, and design tailored deployment blueprints.

- Product Feedback Loop: Act as the ultimate internal champion for our customers. Translate real-world client friction points, edge-case bugs, and feature requests directly back to our core Product and Engineering teams to influence our long-term product roadmap.

- Rapid Prototyping: Build bespoke, high-performance proof-of-concept (PoC) tools and data dashboards under tight timelines to demonstrate the full, uncompromised power of our platform during high-value sales cycles.

Requirements

- Education & Engineering Literacy: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or an equivalent technical discipline with a strong foundation in systems design and algorithms.

- Professional Experience: 3 to 6+ years of proven professional experience as a Software Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or Solutions Architect operating in production-scale cloud environments.

- Polyglot Coding Foundations: Exceptional ability to jump into unfamiliar codebases and write robust code across multiple languages—specifically Python, Go, Java, or advanced JavaScript/TypeScript.

- Cloud & Infrastructure Mastery: Deep, hands-on fluency managing containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices across major cloud providers (AWS, GCP, or Azure). Strong familiarity with Linux systems and networking protocols is non-negotiable.

- Data Layer Literacy: Robust command of database structures and query optimization across relational (PostgreSQL/MySQL), non-relational (Redis/MongoDB), and data warehousing layers (Snowflake/BigQuery).

- Elite Communication & Presence: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English. You must possess the emotional intelligence and confidence required to advise C-suite executives on technical strategy while commanding the respect of client developers.

- High Mobility: Willingness and flexibility to travel up to 30-40% to client sites as required to secure critical deployments.

Preferred Qualifications

- Prior experience working within an early or mid-stage enterprise B2B SaaS startup environment.

- Previous experience in a client-facing technical engineering role (such as Forward-Deployed Engineering, Solutions Architecture, or Technical Consulting).

- Foundational understanding of cybersecurity compliance frameworks (SOC2, ISO 27001) and data privacy regulations.

Job Details

- Location: Hybrid / Travel-Ready

- Salary Range: $130,000 – $175,000 base structure + Significant Early-Stage Equity Shares, Performance Bonuses, and Premium Health/Wellness Coverages.
