About the role
We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to support client’s Optimisation Infrastructure Nordic team. In this role, you will design, develop and maintain end-to-end applications, working across frontend, backend, databases and cloud infrastructure.
You will translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable and robust software solutions, delivering complete features from concept to production. You will also provide technical guidance, identify opportunities to improve existing systems and mentor other developers.
Key responsibilities
• Design, build and maintain frontend applications using Angular and backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Develop user interfaces that provide a consistent experience across laptops, tablets and smartphones.
• Design and optimise databases and server-side components to support application functionality.
• Develop APIs, integrations, microservices and distributed systems.
• Build event-driven solutions using messaging platforms such as Kafka.
• Develop and support cloud-based solutions on Microsoft Azure.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices and development automation.
• Work with Docker and Kubernetes for containerisation and deployment.
• Apply secure coding standards, testing frameworks and quality assurance practices throughout development.
• Troubleshoot frontend and backend issues and optimise application performance.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to address user experience requirements and communicate design decisions.
• Work with business stakeholders and technical teams to translate requirements into practical technical solutions.
• Assess existing systems and processes, identify improvement opportunities and recommend appropriate IT solutions.
• Take ownership of development work from initial concept through production delivery.
• Mentor developers and contribute to technical discussions, architectural decisions and engineering practices.
Required technical skills and experience
• 10+ years of relevant software development experience.
• Strong frontend development experience with Angular.
• Strong backend development experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience in database design and optimisation.
• Experience working with Microsoft Azure.
• Strong understanding of integration technologies and API design.
• Experience with event-driven architectures and messaging platforms such as Kafka.
• Experience with CI/CD, DevOps and automation pipelines.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of security best practices and secure coding.
• Experience with testing frameworks and software quality assurance.
• Strong understanding of microservices and distributed systems.
• Experience identifying and resolving application performance issues.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Communication and leadership skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Swedish and English.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders and technical teams.
• Experience mentoring and coaching junior developers.
