Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Engineer to support and enhance enterprise infrastructure within a dynamic, high-availability environment. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining hybrid on-premises and cloud-based systems, with a focus on networking, virtualization, security, and automation. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in supporting the company’s growth, ensuring reliable network performance, security compliance, and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise network/infrastructure engineering
- Hands-on expertise with Kubernetes, VMware (vSphere/ESXi), and Microsoft Azure
- Proven experience designing and supporting enterprise networks (LAN/WAN, routing/switching, VPNs)
- Firewall management experience with SonicWall, Cisco ASA, or Palo Alto
- Strong virtualization, compute, and storage performance optimization skills
- Knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and Group Policy
- Working knowledge of SQL Server environments (preferably AlwaysOn)
- Operational discipline in incident response, change management, and documentation
- Ability to support and improve hybrid infrastructure environments efficiently
Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain network and infrastructure health to ensure optimal performance and uptime
- Support and implement virtualization strategies, including VMware and Nutanix-based platforms
- Manage cloud environments, particularly Microsoft Azure, including networking, compute, and security
- Support and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters and containerized environments
- Design, configure, and support enterprise LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi networks
- Manage firewalls, VPNs, and secure data transfer solutions
- Implement automation and Infrastructure-as-Code practices to increase reliability and efficiency
