About the Role
BigStep is seeking an experienced Product Manager with 6–8 years of experience to lead the strategy and execution of AI/ML-driven, data-centric products. This role requires strong product ownership, deep customer understanding, and the ability to align cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-impact solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead deep discovery to understand user pain points, behaviors, and workflows; define user personas and end-to-end customer journeys
- Own product strategy and roadmap, translating business objectives into clear epics, features, and well-defined user stories
- Define, track, and analyze product success metrics and KPIs aligned with business and customer outcomes
- Author high-quality PRDs, clearly outlining problem statements, scope, dependencies, and success criteria
- Drive end-to-end product execution—from ideation and validation to launch, iteration, and scale
- Manage and prioritize the product backlog; lead sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives in Agile environments
- Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and trade-offs; make data-informed decisions to keep delivery on track
- Communicate product vision, roadmap updates, and key decisions to leadership and senior stakeholders
Qualifications
- 6–8 years of experience in Product Management, preferably within AI/ML, data-intensive, or SaaS platforms
- Proven experience writing comprehensive PRDs, managing complex backlogs, and driving execution in cross-functional Agile teams
- Analytical and outcome-driven mindset with experience defining and measuring product impact using KPIs and metrics
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills, with confidence presenting to leadership and technical audiences
- Hands-on experience with product and collaboration tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Figma, Miro, Slack, and Google Workspace
- Strong understanding of AI fundamentals, ML concepts, and technical architectures, enabling effective collaboration with engineering and data teams
- Prior hands-on development experience or solid technical background (good to have), with understanding of APIs, system design, databases, and software development lifecycle.
