Position Overview
A leading global life sciences organisation is seeking a Junior Master Data Specialist to support the maintenance and accuracy of maintenance-related data, documentation and system records at a pharmaceutical manufacturing site.
The role is suited to a detail-oriented professional with strong data entry and administrative skills who can work accurately in a high-volume environment and maintain high standards of data integrity.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform high-volume, accurate data entry into maintenance databases, SAP and other systems.
- Maintain, organise and archive electronic and paper maintenance records.
- Update equipment logs, operational documentation, preventative maintenance schedules and work orders.
- Ensure data consistency, accuracy and integrity across maintenance records.
- Apply basic data integrity principles to daily records management and system updates.
- Support general administrative activities within the maintenance department.
- Identify and resolve documentation gaps with relevant team members.
- Maintain accurate equipment histories and associated records.
- Ensure documentation is managed in accordance with site standards and applicable quality requirements.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous administrative, data entry or office support experience is preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and a strong focus on accuracy.
- Ability to learn quickly and work effectively in a high-volume data environment.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and general computer systems.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication.
Preferred Experience
- Experience working with SAP or another ERP system.
- Familiarity with GMP documentation standards.
- Experience working within a manufacturing, pharmaceutical, life sciences or other regulated environment.
- Understanding of basic data integrity principles.
