SOFTWARE / AI ENGINEER
nBlick | Remote (Europe)
ABOUT NBLICK
Search is becoming answers. When someone asks ChatGPT which tool to buy, which agency to hire, or which brand to trust, the answer arrives with no blue links and no way for the brand to see what was said about them, or whether they were mentioned at all.
nBlick is the visibility layer for that world. We run persona-based prompts across 10+ AI models every day (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity and others) and turn every answer into structured metrics: mention rate, share of voice, sentiment, competitor positioning. Brands use us to see how they show up in AI answers, and then to change it.
We're early, small, and building the category as we go. The people joining now decide how it works.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We're looking for an engineer who wants the whole problem, not a slice of it.
nBlick runs end to end: pipelines that query AI models at scale, extraction that turns messy text into structured metrics, storage that keeps it all queryable, and a product where a marketer opens a dashboard and immediately understands where they stand. On a team this size, the same person often touches all of it in a week.
You'll ship features that customers use, and you'll work on the model layer underneath them. If you like the product side of engineering as much as the systems side, and you've been waiting for an excuse to work on LLMs in production rather than in a side project, this is the job.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Build and ship product: dashboards, reports, alerts, onboarding, the API. The things customers actually open
- Work on the intelligence layer: LLM query pipelines, extracting structured data from model responses, evaluating whether the output is right
- Design the data model and the systems that keep millions of model responses fast to query
- Ship quickly and iterate with real users in the loop, rather than building for a quarter and hoping
- Help decide what we build, not just how. Engineering opinions carry weight here
- Set the patterns, tooling and standards the next engineers inherit
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 3+ years building and shipping production software, with ownership of things that ran and stayed running
- Strong in Python, TypeScript, or both, and happy to learn whichever you're missing
- Comfortable across the stack: you can build an API, model the data behind it, and put a usable interface on top
- Hands-on with LLM APIs, whether in production or in serious side projects. You know where they break and where they hallucinate
- Pragmatic about quality. You know when something needs tests and a design doc, and when it needs to ship today
- Product instinct. You ask who the user is and what decision they're making before you build
- Comfortable with ambiguity and a small team, where nobody hands you a ticket
- Bonus, but a real one for us: you're comfortable working alongside AI coding tools rather than around them
Bonus:
- Experience with data-heavy or analytics products
- Async systems, queues, or high-volume API orchestration at scale
- Evaluation, benchmarking, or NLP work
- You've been an early engineer somewhere before
LOCATION
This role is fully remote within European timezones. We work asynchronously by default and get together in person a few times a year.
COMPENSATION
Competitive base salary plus meaningful equity. This is an early engineering hire and the equity reflects that. We'll share specifics early in the process so nobody wastes their time.
HOW TO APPLY
Send us something you built and tell us what you'd do differently now. A repo, a product, a system you're proud of, or an LLM project that didn't work and taught you something. We read everything.
