Position Summary:
- Phoenix Corporation is hiring a Mechanical Field Service Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, weld, and fabricate industrial spiral conveyor systems used in food manufacturing plants across the U.S.
- This is a travel-based, customer-facing role for mechanically skilled candidates who are dependable, professional, safety-focused, and comfortable working in demanding industrial environments.
- Employees may live anywhere in the U.S., as work is project-based and travel is fully company paid.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain spiral conveyor systems
- Perform welding and fabrication in the field
- Work directly with plant managers and engineers
- Conduct testing, inspections, and quality checks
- Travel to customer sites nationwide
Required qualifications:
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Ability to work in physically demanding industrial environments
- Strong communication and professionalism
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Must pass background check and hair follicle drug test
Preferred qualifications:
- 2+ years of industrial mechanical, maintenance, millwright, field service, or equipment installation experience
- Welding/fabrication experience
- Experience with calipers, micrometers, and mechanical troubleshooting
- Manufacturing or food plant experience preferred
Physical requirements:
- Lift up to 75 lbs
- Climb up to 50 ft
- Work 12-hour shifts as needed
- Work in hot and cold environments
