Our client are a global consulting firm, they are on the lookout for a Data Security & Compliance Specialist to come in on a contract/freelance basis (full time, 8 hours per day, 5 days per week)
Key Skills/Requirements:
- Own and develop the Data Security & Compliance framework, including policies, standards, controls and procedures.
- Translate regulatory requirements including GDPR and EU data regulations into practical controls and implementation plans.
- Drive data governance across access, usage, retention, lifecycle management and data protection.
- Lead audit readiness, compliance assessments, gap analysis and remediation activities.
- Partner with Legal, Security, Data Owners, IT and engineering teams to embed compliance-by-design across data platforms and products.
Contract is running until the end of 2026 initially, paying up to €860p/day and will be 2-3 days per week onsite in Veldhoven.
