Business Process Analyst
Location: Oklahoma City, OK
Work Arrangement: Hybrid, 3–4 days onsite
Contract Duration: 1 year
Position Overview
We are seeking a Business Process Analyst to support strategic initiatives, business process improvement, performance management, and stakeholder coordination. The ideal candidate will analyze current-state processes, identify improvement opportunities, develop actionable recommendations, and support initiatives from planning through implementation and completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and evaluate business processes and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements to standardize, streamline, and optimize operations.
- Conduct gap analysis and root cause analysis and develop actionable recommendations.
- Support the planning, implementation, execution, monitoring, and completion of strategic initiatives.
- Develop and maintain project plans, milestones, action items, and deliverables.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to maintain alignment on scope, timelines, deliverables, and outcomes.
- Identify and support resolution of risks, issues, and blockers.
- Conduct feasibility assessments, risk analysis, and optimization analysis for proposed process changes.
- Develop and maintain KPIs, performance dashboards, and reporting tools.
- Support change management, stakeholder engagement, readiness, communication, and adoption activities.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, SOPs, reports, recommendations, and implementation documentation.
- Facilitate meetings, workshops, and cross-functional workgroups.
- Communicate findings, recommendations, risks, and decisions effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Required Skills
- Experience with business process analysis and process improvement.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Experience with gap analysis and root cause analysis.
- Knowledge of Agile, Lean, Lean Six Sigma, project management, or related methodologies.
- Experience developing or using KPIs, dashboards, performance measures, and reports.
- Strong stakeholder management and facilitation skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in business analysis, process improvement, project management, or performance management.
- Experience supporting strategic initiatives, organizational transformation, or enterprise-level improvement.
- Experience in government, public health, finance, or a regulated environment.
- Experience developing executive-level reports, dashboards, process maps, SOPs, or implementation documentation.
- Lean Six Sigma, project management, change management, or business analysis certification/training.
- Experience with Power BI or similar reporting and data visualization tools.
