We are looking for a Business Analyst for the Key Register.You will work at the National Tactical Command on the Key Register ecosystem for Enforcement, Criminal Investigation, and Intelligence—a role with direct operational impact on information-driven operations.

Responsibilities As a Business Analyst Key Register, you support the business owner and contribute to the realization of the Key Register ecosystem for the Enforcement, Criminal Investigation, and Intelligence processes.
- Creating insight into current and target work processes regarding information processing and sharing
- Defining business requirements for the Key Registers ecosystem
- Advising on appropriate IT architecture principles for the ecosystem
- Developing Product Backlog Items (PBIs) and user stories
- Participating in the business project team responsible for establishing business requirements
- Acting as a link between the business owner, end users, project team, chain partners, and external vendors
- Coordinating activities with internal and external stakeholders to build consensus and alignment
- Contributing to ensuring compliance with laws and regulations within operations
- Making improvement proposals regarding digital transformation and data-driven working
Context and Objectives
- Working at the National Tactical Command (LTC), an operational unit of the Royal Netherlands Marechaussee
- Contributing to information-driven operations (IGO) through a high-quality data concept for operations and business management
- Supporting the business owner in realizing the Key Register ecosystem
- Operating at the intersection of operations and IT/information provision
- Working as part of a team of business analysts and subject matter experts
Requirements
- 4 years of experience as a Business Analyst Key Register or a similar role
Preferences / Wishlist
- 4 years of experience with process and information analysis, information standards, process control, and business analysis methodologies within law enforcement, the criminal justice chain, or the security domain
- Recent experience (gained less than 5 years ago) within the or the IT/information management organization of the Public Safety & Security (OOV) chain (Police, Justice, Defence)
- Experience with IT architecture principles within a Business Analyst role
- Experience in projects that involved not only elaborating requirements, PBIs, and user stories, but also achieving concrete results in delivering IT/IV solutions
- Completed Bachelor's degree (higher professional education) in Information Science or a related fiel
