Senior OutSystems Solution Architect / Low-Code CoE Architect

About the Role We're looking for a Senior OutSystems Solution Architect to own end-to-end architecture, governance, and delivery of enterprise-scale low-code applications using OutSystems 11 and OutSystems Developer Cloud (ODC). This is a hands-on architecture leadership role spanning application design, integration, security, workflow automation, CoE governance, and emerging Agentic AI capabilities — working closely with business stakeholders, enterprise architects, developers, and DevOps teams across a large-scale Life Sciences/Manufacturing environment.
What You'll Do
- Own OutSystems solution architecture for enterprise web, mobile, workflow, and integration applications
- Establish and govern OutSystems Center of Excellence (CoE) standards — architecture reviews, reusable templates, deployment governance
- Architect complex approval workflows (including 9- to 15-level approval chains) with escalations, audit trails, and email-based actions
- Design integrations across REST/SOAP APIs, Microsoft Graph, Salesforce, AWS S3/Redshift, Databricks, Power BI, SQL Server, and ERP systems
- Implement secure authentication models (SSO, OIDC, SCIM, IDP) with role- and persona-based access
- Architect high-volume data processing solutions (500K+ record batch jobs, large-scale SharePoint migrations, multi-system dashboards)
- Define CI/CD and deployment governance, integrating with tools like Jenkins
- Explore and implement Agentic AI use cases — intelligent reminders, workflow follow-ups, action-item automation
- Lead architecture/delivery across multiple parallel initiatives; support a 50+ member distributed team through sprints, demos, and releases
Required Skills
- 12–15+ years overall IT experience, including 7–8+ years hands-on with OutSystems
- OutSystems 11 (O11) and OutSystems Developer Cloud (ODC) — Service Studio, Integration Studio, ODC Studio, Lifetime
- Strong background in enterprise low-code architecture, CoE governance, and reusable component design
- REST/SOAP APIs, Microsoft Graph, Salesforce, AWS S3/Redshift, Databricks, Power BI, SQL Server
- SSO/OIDC/SCIM/IDP security integration
- Jenkins/CI-CD, batch processing, JavaScript, SQL
- Agile/Scrum delivery experience
Preferred
- Life Sciences, BioPharma, or Manufacturing domain experience
- ERP integration experience (SAP, Oracle/JDE)
- Manufacturing Execution System (MES) or operational workflow app experience
- OutSystems certifications (Tech Lead, ODC Associate Developer, Agentic AI Specialist, etc.)
- Exposure to Mendix or other low-code platforms
