Role Overview
We are looking for a hands-on Automation Engineer to design, develop and maintain automation solutions across cloud and infrastructure environments.
The role focuses on infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, CI/CD automation and operational workflows. The candidate will work closely with ServiceNow and Cloud teams to enable fully automated, approval-driven infrastructure and operational processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement automation using Ansible for configuration management and orchestration.
- Use Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Git-based workflows.
- Develop automation scripts using PowerShell for Windows, Active Directory and enterprise automation.
- Use Shell scripting where applicable.
- Automate end-user support and operational workflows.
- Automate cloud resource provisioning, infrastructure scaling and remediation.
- Integrate automation workflows with ServiceNow, including RITM-based execution and approvals.
- Integrate automation with monitoring and alerting systems.
- Ensure automation solutions are secure, idempotent, well-documented and production-ready.
- Troubleshoot automation failures and continuously improve reliability.
- Participate in design discussions around agentic and AI-assisted automation use cases.
Required Skills & Experience
- 3–6 years of experience in infrastructure or cloud automation.
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Ansible
- Terraform
- Git / GitHub
- GitHub Actions
- PowerShell
- Experience with:
- Microsoft Azure
- Active Directory automation
- Infrastructure provisioning and configuration
- Good understanding of:
- CI/CD best practices
- Infrastructure as Code principles
- Enterprise security and access controls
Preferred Skills
- Experience integrating automation solutions with ServiceNow.
- Exposure to SRE or DevOps practices.
- Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools.
- Interest in AI-driven automation and agent-based systems.
