Role Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Python Software Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Python, Data Structures & Algorithms, Software Design, Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), Cloud Technologies, and GenAI-assisted development.
The ideal candidate will act as a technical leader in designing and developing scalable, high-performance, enterprise-grade software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of scalable, performant, and enterprise-grade software applications.
- Develop robust solutions using Python on Linux and/or Windows platforms.
- Apply strong knowledge of Data Structures, Algorithms, Object-Oriented Programming, and Software Design Concepts.
- Design and implement solutions using Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA).
- Develop and integrate applications with AWS and/or Azure Cloud services.
- Design and implement third-party API integrations at scale.
- Leverage GenAI-assisted development tools such as Cursor and Windsurf to improve productivity, development quality, and delivery.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and optimize application performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and maintainable solutions.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum, code reviews, technical discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Mandatory Skills
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Python.
- Excellent knowledge of Data Structures & Algorithms.
- Strong understanding of Software Design, OOP, and Design Concepts.
- Hands-on experience with Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA).
- Experience with AWS and/or Azure.
- Hands-on experience with GenAI-based development, particularly Cursor and/or Windsurf.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and system-design skills.
- Experience building scalable and high-performance enterprise applications.
Preferred / Good-to-Have Skills
- Experience with third-party API integrations at scale.
- Working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of Backup & Recovery domain.
- Experience working in a product-based company.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Education
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
