Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Java Backend Developer with 15+ years of expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale, high-performance backend applications. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Java, Scala, and Apache Spark, with a proven track record of building distributed systems and enterprise-grade applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance backend applications.
- Build and optimize distributed systems for large-scale data processing.
- Develop robust and efficient solutions using Java, Scala, and Apache Spark.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver enterprise-grade applications.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following best practices.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues.
- Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical mentoring.
- Ensure high standards of software quality, security, and performance.
Required Skills:
- 15+ years of hands-on experience in backend application development.
- Strong proficiency in Java 8+.
- Extensive experience with Apache Spark.
- Strong expertise in backend development and microservices architecture.
- Experience designing and developing distributed systems.
- Strong understanding of large-scale data processing and enterprise application development.
- Excellent knowledge of object-oriented design principles, multithreading, and concurrent programming.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and backend integration.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Knowledge of Kafka or other distributed messaging platforms is a plus.
