Job Title: HRP Performance Test Analyst

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced HRP Performance Test Analyst to support the Facets-to-HealthRules Payer (HRP) migration. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and executing performance, load, and stress testing for the HRP Windows desktop application, integrations, and APIs.
This role requires strong experience in HealthRules Payer, healthcare payer systems, performance testing, EDI transactions, SQL, and core system migration/conversion projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement performance, load, and stress testing frameworks for the HRP Windows desktop application, integrations, and APIs.
- Develop and execute performance test scenarios covering key business workflows and capture response times for screens and transactions.
- Execute concurrent-user and transaction-volume testing across migration milestones, including Provider Conversion, Medicare Enrollment, Medicaid Membership, Claims Cutover, and Hypercare.
- Build and execute load-testing scripts for peak enrollment and claims processing scenarios.
- Validate application performance against agreed P50, P95, and P99 response-time targets.
- Support performance validation for healthcare transaction volumes, including 837 Claims, 834 Enrollment, 835 Payments, and 278 Authorizations.
- Identify and analyze performance bottlenecks across the application, database, integration, and infrastructure layers.
- Use SQL and infrastructure monitoring tools to isolate root causes and support remediation efforts.
- Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and partners to review and validate performance test results.
- Support migration, conversion, parallel testing, cutover validation, and go-live readiness activities.
- Create and maintain performance test plans, scenarios, workload models, thresholds, results, risks, and recommendations.
- Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to develop realistic performance test scenarios based on production workloads.
- Present performance findings, risks, and readiness status to technical teams and client leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience in Performance Testing, Load Testing, and Stress Testing.
- Direct experience with HealthRules Payer (HRP) performance testing is highly preferred.
- Experience testing Windows/Desktop applications, along with integration and API performance.
- Strong experience in the Healthcare Payer domain.
- Knowledge of Claims Adjudication, Member Enrollment, Provider Data, and Core Administrative Processing Systems.
- Experience with healthcare EDI transactions including 834, 837, 835, and 278.
- Experience supporting Facets-to-HRP migrations or similar healthcare core-system migration/conversion projects.
- Strong understanding of concurrent-user testing, transaction-volume testing, response-time analysis, and performance benchmarking.
- Hands-on SQL experience for performance analysis and troubleshooting.
- Experience with application, database, and infrastructure monitoring.
- Experience with migration validation, parallel testing, cutover, and go-live performance readiness.
- Strong analytical, documentation, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with HealthEdge / HealthRules Payer implementations or migrations.
- Experience in healthcare payer modernization or core platform transformation projects.
- Experience with performance testing tools such as LoadRunner, JMeter, NeoLoad, or similar tools.
- Prior consulting or client-facing experience presenting performance risks, findings, and recommendations to leadership.
