Job Description
As an Android Developer, you will design, develop, and maintain Android application features using Kotlin. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering, product, design, and backend teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
You will contribute to application architecture and technical design decisions, while building clean, scalable, and maintainable mobile solutions. The role will also involve developing and enhancing dynamic UI frameworks driven by backend configurations or schemas.
You will work with RESTful APIs, manage complex application state, optimise application performance and reliability, and troubleshoot complex production and integration issues.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain Android application features using Kotlin.

Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.
Support the continued improvement of development processes, tooling, and technical standards.
Required Qualifications
You should have 5+ years of professional Android development experience, with strong proficiency in Kotlin and proven experience developing customer-facing Android applications.
You should have experience building dynamic UI frameworks driven by backend configurations, schemas, or remote data, alongside strong experience integrating RESTful APIs and managing complex application state.
A solid understanding of MVVM, Clean Architecture, or similar architectural patterns is required, as well as strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
You should be comfortable working within a collaborative, cross-functional engineering environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Flutter and Dart for cross-platform development would be advantageous.
Experience developing applications that interact with IoT devices, connected systems, or hardware integrations would be beneficial.
Familiarity with Jetpack Compose and modern Android development practices is preferred.
An understanding of Android permissions, privacy requirements, and application lifecycle management would be useful.
Experience working on large-scale consumer-facing applications and within agile software development environments would also be advantageous.
