Do you want to run a multi-country P&Ls in your first year with direct access to the person who owns the global marketplace business with a revenue running into hundreds of millions of dollars? Then read on...
Role: Marketplace Manager
Team: Marketplaces . Location: Bengaluru . Experience: 1-4 years
About the role
Ultrahuman sells the Ring AIR through marketplaces worldwide Amazon in most geographies, plus regional platforms like Flipkart, noon and Careem, alongside quick-commerce and retail partners.
You'll own a set of these markets end to end, across both 3P (self-managed seller) and 1P (vendor) models. It's a hands-on operating role: you'll be the single person who knows what's happening in your markets on any given day, and the first to catch it when something moves the
wrong way.
What you'll do
- Run the daily cadence — sales, traffic, conversion, share of buy box, inventory cover — across every platform in your patch. Spot the anomaly early and chase it to a root cause.
- Own the P&L inputs — pricing, promotions, coupons, platform commissions, returns. Explain why the number moved, not just that it did.
- Manage inventory health — restock planning, fulfilment cover, stranded and suppressed inventory, working with supply chain on inbound and allocation.
- Keep the catalogue clean across platforms — listing quality, variations, rich content, review and escalation cases.
- Support ads performance alongside our ads lead — reading the reports, flagging what's working, executing changes.
- Run 1P/vendor operations — purchase orders, chargebacks, fill rate, and the working relationship with platform account managers.
- Manage platform and agency relationships day to day, and hold them to the plan.
- Build the weekly view leadership actually reads: what happened, why, and what you're doing about it.
What we're looking for
- 1–4 years of experience where you owned a number and had to explain it — ecommerce, a marketplace agency, a D2C brand, an aggregator, analytics or ops.
- Strong with data. Advanced Excel/Sheets is non-negotiable — you should be able to take a messy 50,000-row export and come back with the three things that matter. SQL is a strong plus.
- AI-native. You already work with Claude or similar tools daily, and not just to draft emails — to interrogate data, automate the repetitive parts of your reporting, and move faster than the headcount would suggest. We run a small team by design and expect people to build their own leverage.
- Sharpness over credentials. We care that you think clearly, notice what doesn't add up, and follow a problem to the end.
- Ownership. These are your markets. Nobody will chase you for updates.
- Clear writing. A lot of this job is explaining a number to someone who wasn't in the weeds with you.
No prior relevant experience mandatory. Everything platform-specific is learnable in a few months by someone sharp — we'd rather hire for the thinking and teach the rest. Prior seller or vendor platform experience shortens your ramp, but it isn't a requirement.
Hiring process
1. Intro call (30 min)
2. Practical exercise — a real, messy marketplace report and a short window to tell us what's wrong and what you'd do about it. Use whatever AI tools you normally would; we care how you think and how you work, not whether you can do it unaided.
3. Discussion of your exercise with the team
4. Final conversation
