Job Description
A large, established organization is seeking a Vice President of Finance to lead a complex accounting and financial operations function. This leader-of-leaders role requires a strong technical accounting foundation, significant investment accounting expertise, and the ability to develop established leaders while driving operational improvement.

What You’ll Do
- Lead corporate accounting, investment accounting, and financial operations
- Oversee accounting and reporting for a complex portfolio of financial assets
- Develop and lead an established team of accounting leaders
- Strengthen financial reporting, controls, reconciliations, and compliance
- Drive process improvement, automation, and technology initiatives
- Partner with executive leadership on strategic initiatives
- Maintain relationships with auditors and key internal and external stakeholders
Qualifications
- Significant accounting leadership experience within a complex organization
- Strong investment accounting experience required
- Experience within a regulated or highly controlled industry preferred
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, controls, audit, and compliance
- Experience leading through multiple levels of management
- Strong executive presence and business partnership skills
- Ability to work onsite in Omaha 3 days per week
- CPA, CFA, MBA, or comparable designation/education preferred
