Join ArcelorMittal's European Procurement Organization (EPO) and become part of a global procurement team responsible for shaping sourcing strategies and driving operational excellence across international markets. As a Buyer Travel & Fleet, you will manage global travel and fleet categories, build strategic supplier partnerships, and contribute to cost optimization, sustainability, and process standardization initiatives.
Your Responsibilities:
- Support the development and execution of global procurement strategies for travel and fleet categories.
- Manage sourcing activities related to air travel, hotels, rail, car rental, travel agencies, online booking tools, payment solutions, company cars, and fleet services.
- Lead supplier evaluations, negotiations, and contract management activities to secure the best value for the business.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and internal stakeholders worldwide.
- Monitor supplier performance through KPIs and service level agreements (SLAs) while driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Analyze spend data and identify opportunities for cost optimization, supplier consolidation, and process efficiencies.
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, IT, Security, Sustainability, and regional procurement teams to ensure alignment and effective implementation of global solutions.
- Support the digitalization of travel and fleet processes, including booking platforms, expense management tools, and fleet management systems.
- Monitor market trends and identify innovative solutions that improve efficiency, user experience, and sustainability performance.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, external regulations, and risk management standards.
- Participate in procurement projects across additional indirect categories, including Facility Management.
What We Are Looking For:
- University degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, travel management, fleet management, or indirect purchasing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with confidence in working with financial and performance data.
- Experience in supplier negotiations, contract management, and stakeholder engagement.
- Ability to work effectively in a global and multicultural environment.
- Strong communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills.
- Proactive approach with the ability to drive change and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Digital mindset and interest in procurement systems, travel platforms, and process automation.
- English proficiency at a minimum B2/C1 level; additional languages will be considered an advantage.
- Willingness to travel internationally (approximately 20%).
