We've partnered with a super exciting start-up that are revolutionizing the commercial real-estate industry with their AI-native platform. They're building AI that takes over the messiest, most manual parts of commercial real estate, and it's working. ARR is up 80% quarter over quarter, then another 154% the quarter after. They just closed their first six-figure customer, did $300K across 7 deals last quarter, and everything in the pipeline right now is six figures or more. They're already live with large, publicly traded companies, with C-suite execs using the product regularly, not just piloting it.
They're looking for a founding engineer to join early and help scale what's been built.
What you'll work on
Commercial real estate runs on an enormous amount of messy, unstructured data: leases, loans, and other documents that don't play nice with traditional software. They're using AI to actually automate the work that sits on top of that data. That means:
- LLM-based extraction from real-world, imperfect documents
- Building evals that actually tell you something about quality
- Agentic workflows that can be trusted to run without a human double-checking every step
- Getting all of it to hold up reliably at enterprise scale
This isn't a thin wrapper around a model API. It's real infrastructure work on a genuinely hard problem.
What they're looking for
- Someone with 1-5 years experience
- Someone who has experience with the full development cycle; frontend, backend and AI/ML
- Someone who wants to build, not just maintain: you'll have real ownership over the product
- Strong engineering fundamentals, with experience (or strong interest) in LLMs, extraction, agents, or ML-adjacent systems
- Comfort with ambiguity: early-stage means the roadmap isn't fully written yet, and you'll help write it
- Someone who wants to work directly with the founders, not through five layers of management
