About the Role
We are looking for a Product Manager to help build and grow B2B, AI-driven products for the financial services industry. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role centered on taking new solutions from concept to launch (0-to-1), while also stepping into select customer-facing moments to demonstrate product value.
You will work day-to-day with engineering, design, and go-to-market teams to define what we build, ship high-quality releases, and ensure our products solve real problems for enterprise banking and fintech clients. A portion of your time will be spent demonstrating the product to prospective and existing customers and bringing their needs back into the roadmap.
Key Responsibilities
Product discovery and definition
- Own product discovery for your assigned area—translating customer needs, market signals, and business goals into a clear, prioritized set of problems worth solving.
- Take new AI-driven solutions from concept through launch (0-to-1), defining the MVP and balancing speed to market with quality.
- Write clear product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria that engineering and design can act on with minimal ambiguity.
Delivery and execution
- Partner closely with engineering and design throughout the build cycle; manage and prioritize the backlog, and make sound scope and trade-off decisions.
- Maintain and communicate the roadmap for your product area, keeping stakeholders aligned on priorities, timelines, and dependencies.
- Define success metrics, run experiments where appropriate, and iterate on the product based on data and user feedback.
Customer and market insight
- Conduct user research, interviews, and validation to ground product decisions in real customer needs within the financial services context.
- Continuously gather and synthesize feedback—including insights from customer-facing engagements—to inform the roadmap.
Pre-sales and customer demonstration
- Serve as a product subject-matter expert in selected sales engagements, delivering tailored product demonstrations to prospective and existing enterprise clients.
- Support pre-sales activities in partnership with the Sales team—clarifying product capabilities, helping scope proofs-of-concept, and contributing to product-related sections of client proposals or RFPs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a business, technology, or related field.
- 4–6 years of B2B product management experience, including full product-lifecycle ownership.
- Demonstrated experience building and launching products from an early stage (0-to-1).
- Comfortable working in an agile environment alongside engineering and design teams.
- Ability to make data-informed product decisions, using analytics to guide prioritization.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence and clarity to present to, and demonstrate products for, customers and internal stakeholders.
- Familiarity with the financial services, banking, or fintech landscape, or a demonstrated ability to ramp quickly in a regulated, enterprise domain.
- Working understanding of how modern software products are built (e.g., APIs, integrations, data), sufficient to collaborate effectively with technical teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Direct experience with financial services, banking technology, or fintech products.
- Exposure to AI or machine learning products and their practical application.
- MBA or relevant graduate degree.
