Business Analyst (GenAI):
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Business Analyst (GenAI) for a 12 month contract role (possible extension/conversion). This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.
Business Analyst (GenAI) - Job Description:
The role involves supporting the delivery of enterprise GenAI solutions by translating technical capabilities into business outcomes. The Business Analyst (GenAI) will act as a bridge across business, technology, and governance to ensure solutions are scalable, compliant, and production-ready within a regulated banking environment.
Business Analyst (GenAI) - Responsibilities:
• Lead discovery and document current-state architecture, data flows, integrations, and user journeys.
• Translate requirements into clear functional and non-functional specifications and manage scope, dependencies, and priorities.
• Maintain and refine backlog (e.g., Jira), documentation, and delivery artifacts.
• Act as primary interface with development teams to clarify requirements and support execution decisions.
• Design and support test cases, including GenAI-specific validation (e.g., hallucination, bias, explainability).
• Support system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and performance validation.
• Coordinate governance alignment including architecture review, Responsible AI, security, and data controls.
• Lead release readiness activities including documentation completeness, approvals, and stakeholder sign-off.
• Capture lessons learned and support continuous improvement and scalability of solutions.
Business Analyst (GenAI) - Mandatory Skills:
• 10+ years of experience in Business Analysis or Technical Business Analysis in a complex enterprise environment.
• Experience translating technical solutions into business requirements and user journeys.
• Strong understanding of APIs, data flows, integrations, and solution architecture concepts.
• Experience across the full delivery lifecycle (requirements, build support, testing, release).
• Strong stakeholder management skills across business and technology teams.
• Experience working in regulated environments with risk, compliance, and governance considerations.
• Familiarity with GenAI concepts including prompts, model behavior, and associated risks.
Business Analyst (GenAI) – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience in financial services or banking.
• Exposure to GenAI or advanced analytics programs.
• Experience with tools such as Jira for backlog and delivery management.
• Familiarity with Responsible AI, security, and architecture governance processes.
Business Analyst (GenAI) – Assignment Length:
