WHO WE ARE
PanScience Innovations is India's largest deep-tech and AI venture studio. Rather than investing in companies from the outside, we co-found them: we originate the idea, embed a team from day one, and build out the product, technology, go-to market, operations, finance, and legal functions alongside each venture's core team. We've co-founded 24+ ventures across healthcare, finance, judiciary, media, and industrial AI, and our role is to take deep science that would otherwise stay in a lab and turn it into a company that can stand on its own.
WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH
You'll be looped into multiple portfolio ventures rather than sitting inside just one, working closely with each venture's team as well as PanScience's central studio functions, since regulatory exposure varies by sector but the underlying skill set doesn't.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Track and interpret regulation across the sectors our ventures touch, including AI governance, data protection, health tech, and fintech, and translate it into what each team needs to do differently.
- Build and maintain relationships with regulators, industry bodies, and policymakers on behalf of PanScience and its ventures.
- Represent PanScience and its ventures in consultations, working groups, and industry forums.
- Flag policy shifts early, before they turn into compliance fire drills for any one venture.
- Help our portfolio treat policy fluency as a competitive advantage rather than only a risk function.
WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING
- 5+ years in public policy, government affairs, or regulatory strategy, with tech, health, or fintech sector experience preferred.
- The ability to read a draft bill and explain, in plain language, what it means for a team's roadmap.
- Existing relationships across relevant ministries, regulators, or industry associations in India.
- Comfort working across multiple ventures and sectors at once, rather than sitting inside a single company's policy function.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
Within your first few months, you should have mapped the regulatory landscape relevant to each venture and be the go-to person teams check with before a major decision. Longer term, success means our ventures are consistently ahead of regulatory shifts rather than reacting to them.
