Job Description
We are looking for an experienced TeamSite CMS Architect to lead the architecture, development, implementation, and support of enterprise web content management solutions using OpenText TeamSite.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with OpenText Web CMS/TeamSite, Content Management, Java, JavaScript, REST APIs, templating, and enterprise web architecture.
Required Skills
- 8+ years of experience in Web Content Management / CMS
- Strong hands-on experience with OpenText TeamSite / OpenText Web CMS
- Experience designing and implementing enterprise TeamSite CMS architecture
- Strong knowledge of TeamSite Forms, Templates, Data Types, Workflows, and Components
- Experience with TeamSite OpenDeploy and content deployment
- Strong experience with Java, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and XML
- Experience developing and integrating REST/SOAP APIs
- Experience with OpenText TeamSite Content Server
- Strong understanding of CMS architecture, content modeling, and governance
- Experience with Git, CI/CD, Jenkins, or similar DevOps tools
- Experience with Linux/Unix environments and scripting
- Knowledge of Angular/React is a plus
- Strong understanding of enterprise web application architecture and integration patterns
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture and design of OpenText TeamSite CMS solutions.
- Design scalable and maintainable CMS architecture based on business and technical requirements.
- Develop and customize TeamSite templates, components, workflows, and content types.
- Design and implement content authoring and publishing workflows.
- Manage content deployment using OpenDeploy and related deployment technologies.
- Integrate TeamSite with enterprise applications, APIs, and downstream systems.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams.
- Review existing CMS architecture and recommend improvements, modernization, and optimization.
- Troubleshoot complex application, content management, workflow, and deployment issues.
- Establish development standards, coding guidelines, and best practices.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, developers, QA teams, and infrastructure teams.
- Support application releases, production deployments, and technical documentation.
- Participate in architecture reviews and provide technical solutions for complex requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with OpenText TeamSite modernization or migration projects
- Experience with TeamSite REST APIs
- Experience with enterprise-scale CMS implementations.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure is a plus.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
