**Senior Business Systems Analyst – Central Indiana**

We are seeking a **Senior Business Systems Analyst** to join the Digital Transformation team and support enterprise-level IT and data initiatives. This role is ideal for a strong business analyst who can translate complex business challenges into clear, actionable requirements and user stories while working effectively with technical, data, business, and leadership teams.
### Key Responsibilities
* Translate complex business problems into well-structured business requirements and user stories.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders and provide strategic guidance on technology and data solutions.
* Serve as a business relationship manager for specialized functional and business areas.
* Partner with IT and data teams, including Data Governance, IT Project Management, and QA, to develop detailed and high-quality requirements.
* Act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating business objectives into actionable technical requirements and complex technology concepts into business terms.
* Lead system reengineering and process improvement efforts by identifying root causes and developing integrated solutions.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance interoperability across **INDOT systems, data, and business processes**.
* Develop comprehensive business and user requirements to minimize testing defects and ensure all solution areas are fully addressed.
* Plan and support enterprise-level and detailed system integrations within established governance frameworks.
* Support digital transformation strategy and organizational culture change initiatives.
* Manage expectations across business users, IT teams, vendors, peers, and leadership.
* Follow established governance practices and promote their adoption across the organization.
### Required Qualifications
* **8+ years** of experience as a Business Analyst, Consultant, or similar role in technology or government environments.
* **8+ years** of business analysis and problem-solving experience in consultative or project-based environments.
* **8+ years** of experience cultivating and managing relationships with multiple stakeholders.
* **8+ years** of strong technical, written, and verbal communication skills across technical, data, business, project management, and leadership audiences.
* **8+ years** of experience creating and documenting business requirements and user stories.
* **8+ years** of experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including **Word, PowerPoint, and Excel**.
### Highly Desired
* Experience with **Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)**.
* Experience with **Azure DevOps**.
* Experience with the **Salesforce platform**, including supporting business processes and eliciting/documenting requirements.
* Experience collaborating with technical and business stakeholders in a **Salesforce environment**.
* **Salesforce Certified Business Analyst** certification.
