Job Description
As the first dedicated applied AI hire at DOSS, you will architect the systems that turn foundation models into a transactional system of record. You’ll own the end-to-end AI strategy, from RAG pipelines and agentic automation to building Dossbot, our natural-language interface that grounds complex supply-chain actions in live, multi-tenant data.

What You Will Do
- Architect and build RAG pipelines, model orchestration, and guardrails to ensure AI responses are grounded in live operational data.
- Develop agentic workflows that safely perform procurement and inventory actions within strict enterprise permissions and auditable guardrails.
- Establish the evaluation and observability infrastructure necessary to measure quality and detect anomalies in non-deterministic AI systems.
The ideal candidate
- Demonstrated experience shipping and scaling LLM-powered features, agents, or RAG pipelines to production environments, not just prototypes.
- Expert-level hands-on skills with foundation model APIs, tool calling, prompt engineering, and building reliable backend systems using Postgres.
- Pragmatic builder with a 0-to-1 mindset who knows when AI is the right solution and when to stick to traditional engineering.
