As a Senior Software Engineer, you will join a global development team responsible for designing, developing, and implementing modern cloud-based solutions.
You will work closely with international colleagues and contribute throughout the software development lifecycle, from technical design and architecture to production deployment. We are looking for someone who is passionate about building scalable applications, writing high-quality code, and collaborating in an agile environment using modern technologies.
What You’ll Have the Opportunity to Do
- Design technical solutions for new features and cloud-native applications.
- Develop applications primarily using Python.
- Contribute to frontend development when needed.
- Participate in architecture decisions and software development best practices.
- Implement and work with automated Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes.
- Deploy containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Build and deploy applications using cloud technologies.
- Collaborate with global product, infrastructure, and operations teams.
- Participate in projects involving Generative AI and process automation.
- Take ownership of the software you develop, including supporting your applications when needed.
What You’ll Need
- 5+ years of professional software development experience, or equivalent experience through Open Source projects.
- Advanced English proficiency, both written and conversational, is required, as you will collaborate daily with international teams.
- Strong software development experience using Python.
- Strong knowledge of software architecture and development principles, including SOLID, DRY, KISS, YAGNI, and Convention over Configuration (CoC).
- Experience working with containers and Kubernetes.
- Experience developing and deploying applications using cloud technologies. Experience with Azure or another major cloud platform is welcome.
- Experience designing data models and developing high-performance SQL queries using PostgreSQL and/or Azure SQL.
- Experience building Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, including code validation, testing, security, and automated deployments.
- Experience managing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and configuration automation using Ansible.
- Experience with frontend development. Experience with Vue 3 and/or React and Tailwind CSS is welcome.
- Experience developing scripts and automations using PowerShell, n8n, and/or Azure Logic Apps.
- Experience using GitHub Copilot and Visual Studio Code as development tools.
- Experience developing and implementing solutions using Azure Functions, Azure Web Apps, and Azure API Management.
- Strong knowledge of Linux (Ubuntu and Red Hat) and Windows Subsystem for Linux (WSL), including performance optimization and security.
- Strong knowledge of relational database modeling, preferably PostgreSQL.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
Nice to Have
- Experience using Azure AI Foundry, LangChain, LangGraph, or other frameworks for Large Language Model (LLM) orchestration. Generative AI experience can also be developed as part of the role.
- Experience developing Internal Developer Platforms or Golden Paths.
- Knowledge of API First design, OpenAPI/Swagger, and GraphQL.
