In this role, you will help shape the next generation of advanced robotics programming tools and intelligent automation solutions. Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a global team of robotics and computer vision experts to deliver cutting‑edge products and solutions.
- Design and develop software to control and operate robotic systems, including algorithms for perception, planning, and control.
- Contribute to the creation, simulation, and validation of robotics toolpath planning algorithms.
- Integrate hardware and software components into complete robotic systems, performing thorough testing and validation to ensure performance and reliability.
- Experiment with state-of-the-art techniques in object detection, pose estimation, and motion planning.
- Participate in the design and implementation of robotics programming tools, frameworks, and reusable components.
Qualifications
- MS or PhD in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience commissioning and programming industrial robots, particularly in manipulation-focused applications (e.g., bin picking, packaging, agricultural harvesting).
- Strong programming skills in C++, Python, or MATLAB, along with experience using robotics frameworks and libraries.
- Familiarity with robotic simulation platforms such as ROS, Gazebo, and Isaac Sim/Omniverse.
- Experience working with robotic perception, path planning, and motion control algorithms.
- Solid understanding of robotic hardware systems, including sensors, actuators, and control components.
- Proficiency with deep learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX) and modern computer vision models.
- Experience in manufacturing environments, with knowledge of processes such as welding, surface treatment, painting, or polishing, is a significant plus.
