We’re looking for a Retouch Artist – Production to join our international production team.
This role is for someone who loves getting the details right: a skilled, hands-on retoucher who can work accurately and efficiently across a high volume of image assets, formats and markets.
The focus is production rather than creative interpretation. You’ll work against clear briefs, brand guidelines, references and technical specifications to deliver clean, consistent and production-ready assets across digital, social, print and campaign channels.
A growing share of our source material is also AI-generated or AI-assisted, so we’re looking for someone who is comfortable cleaning up AI-generated imagery and using AI-assisted tools to make production faster and better.
What you’ll do
- Retouch and finalize image assets at high volume across multiple markets, formats and platforms
- Handle cut-outs, masking, dust and defect removal, product and people clean-ups, background adjustments and standard color/exposure corrections
- Identify and correct common artefacts in AI-generated imagery, including issues with edges, textures, patterns, symmetry and details
- Use Photoshop’s AI-assisted capabilities such as Generative Fill, Neural Filters and content-aware workflows
- Adapt and version assets across different aspect ratios, formats, markets and platforms using established templates
- Manage batch processing, naming conventions, versioning and asset variants at scale
- Prepare technically correct, production-ready files for print, digital, social and campaign use
- Quality-check your own work for resolution, color, cleanliness, brand compliance and technical specifications
- Participate in remote live review sessions and implement feedback accurately and quickly
- Identify recurring production issues and contribute to improving our retouching workflows
What we’re looking for
- Solid professional experience in image retouching and production, ideally within an agency, production studio or similar high-volume environment
- Strong hands-on Adobe Photoshop skills, particularly masking, layers, non-destructive editing and correction techniques
- Experience retouching a broad range of imagery, including products, people, still life and backgrounds
- A track record of delivering accurate, consistent work at volume
- Experience working with fully or partly AI-generated imagery and correcting typical AI artefacts
- Confidence using AI-assisted features within Adobe Creative Cloud
- Good understanding of digital and print production requirements, including color spaces, resolution, formats and delivery specifications
- Experience with template-based adaptations, batch processing, versioning and final asset delivery
- Excellent attention to detail and a structured approach to quality control
- Working knowledge of the wider Adobe Creative Cloud ecosystem, including Bridge, Lightroom, Illustrator and InDesign where relevant
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverables while collaborating within a distributed international team
- Strong English communication skills; German is a plus, but not required
Your toolkit
Adobe Photoshop will be your primary daily tool, supported by Adobe Creative Cloud, AI-assisted retouching features, Photoshop actions and automation, review and proofing platforms, DAM systems and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams.

You’re detail-oriented without losing sight of deadlines. You follow specifications carefully, spot inconsistencies before they become problems and take ownership of your work from brief to final delivery.
