We’re hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer to work directly with major automotive, aerospace and energy organisations, bringing AI into real-world engineering environments.
This isn’t a pure ML role.
It isn’t traditional engineering either.
You’ll sit at the intersection of both.
🔹 Work directly with engineering teams at major industrial clients
🔹 Turn complex engineering and simulation data into AI solutions
🔹 Build AI/ML workflows and proof-of-concepts using Python
🔹 Apply deep learning to CFD, FEM and CAE challenges
🔹 Demonstrate measurable improvements in speed, cost and performance
🔹 Train engineers to use the technology themselves
🔹 Bring customer insight back to the technical and product teams
We’re looking for someone who genuinely understands both engineering and AI:
🎓 MSc or PhD in Engineering, Applied Maths or Physics
🤖 Strong hands-on ML / deep learning experience
🐍 Strong Python skills, ideally PyTorch or TensorFlow
⚙️ Experience with CFD, FEM, CAE or engineering simulation
🗣️ Comfortable working directly with clients and presenting technical concepts
🇩🇪 Fluent German and English
The ideal background could be:
An engineer who moved into AI.
A CFD/FEM specialist applying ML to simulation.
An engineering researcher working with deep learning or surrogate modelling.
Ultimately, someone who can take a complex engineering problem and turn it into a practical AI solution.
