Our client is seeking an Arbitrator Application Analyst to support the review, evaluation, and classification of arbitrator applications within a highly regulated environment. This role requires a combination of investigative research, analytical review, compliance assessment, and stakeholder communication to help ensure that applicants meet established eligibility requirements and classification standards.
The ideal candidate will possess strong critical thinking skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to assess information from multiple sources to make well-supported recommendations. Candidates with backgrounds in paralegal studies, legal research, compliance, investigations, financial services, or regulatory review will be particularly successful in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive reviews of arbitrator applications following initial administrative processing.
- Analyze applicant-submitted information alongside background investigation results and supporting documentation.
- Perform due diligence through public records reviews, internet research, social media searches, and other investigative resources.
- Evaluate applicant qualifications against established rules, policies, and classification requirements.
- Assess findings and develop recommendations regarding application approval or denial.
- Present recommendations and supporting analysis for review by an external decision-making board.
- Conduct follow-up outreach with applicants to gather additional information or clarify discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate documentation and application records within internal databases and systems.
- Manage a high volume of applications simultaneously while ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timeliness.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with established review standards and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong analytical, investigative, and research skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to gather, evaluate, and synthesize information from multiple sources.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Experience reviewing applications, case files, compliance documentation, or investigative materials.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and online research tools.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and make well-reasoned recommendations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Paralegal, legal, compliance, risk, regulatory, or financial services background.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
- Experience interpreting statutes, regulations, policies, or procedural rules.
- Securities arbitration, dispute resolution, or financial industry experience.
- Background in investigations, due diligence, compliance reviews, or regulatory oversight.
