Design, integrate, and deploy production-grade robotic systems spanning perception, localization, mapping, planning, and control. You will work simulation-first, integrate real sensors/hardware, and support structured testing, telemetry review, and coordinated field validation for reliable real-world deployments.
What You Will Do
- Build and maintain robotics software stacks (ROS/ROS2 nodes, drivers, middleware)
- Implement perception pipelines using cameras/LiDAR, sensor fusion, and telemetry-driven debugging
- Develop SLAM/localization and mapping workflows
- Implement motion planning and trajectory control for real-time constraints
- Create simulation-first tests in Gazebo/Ignition and validate on hardware
- Tune performance on Linux/embedded targets; improve latency, accuracy, and uptime
- Write documentation, runbooks, and field debugging playbooks (logs, bag files)
- Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and safety stakeholders to ship reliable systems
Required Qualifications
- Mid-Senior experience delivering robotics features to production
- Strong C++ and Python
- Hands-on ROS/ROS2 development and debugging
- Understanding of kinematics/dynamics, control systems, and planning
- Experience diagnosing issues from logs/telemetry, bag files, and hardware traces
Preferred Qualifications
- Computer vision (e.g., OpenCV) and/or deep learning inference for robotics
- LiDAR/camera calibration and time synchronization
- Navigation stacks, behavior trees/state machines
