As a key contributor to the Group’s strategic advancements, the Pictet Tech division plays a vital role in driving transformative innovations that enhance our services and deliver exceptional value to our clients.
The Datacentre Infrastructure unit provides and maintains storage and virtualization platforms for on-premises applications across the Group, including file, object, archiving and backup services.
Your role
- Design, build, operate and continuously improve storage infrastructure platforms
- Keep infrastructure secure, up to date and online.
- Develop internal tooling and processes that improve efficiency and reduce operational risks.
- Promote infrastructure software development practices and DevOps.
- Teach, mentor, grow and advise other domain experts and teams in the organization.
- Participate in on-call duties in rotation with other team members.
Your profile
- Engineering or university degree.
- Significant knowledge of architecture topics such as integration, security and storage technologies (Kubernetes, Cinder, Commvault, Everpure).
- Experience with infrastructure management tools (monitoring and observability, logging, configuration management).
- Software craftsmanship practices, programming and scripting languages is a plus (Python, Java, Go, bash, PowerShell).
- Deeply curious, ready to help, always learning new skills and technologies.
- Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Focuses on proactive strategies to prevent issues before they occur.
- Fluent in French and English.
- Must be resident in Switzerland.
