Aufgaben Und Qualifikationen
Your responsibilities:
- Overall responsibility for the KION GenAI Platform and its strategic roadmap, including budget planning.
- Ensure a scalable, secure and cost‑efficient service operation using cloud‑native services.
- Lead delivery of GenAI use cases from requirements gathering and service provisioning to implementation support and operation.
- Ensure reliable platform operations, monitor performance and maintain Service Level Agreement compliance.
- Drive continuous improvement of development, deployment and monitoring processes (DevOps / LLMOps / AgentOps).
- Ensure secure operation of GenAI services (access control, logging, monitoring and incident management).
- Implement and support global KION AI use cases in collaboration with business stakeholders.
- Lead, coach and support the professional development of the global team of AI Engineers and platform experts.
What We Are Looking For
- Master’s degree in computer science, data science, engineering
- Proven experience (7+ years) in AI, Data Science, Machine Learning, or AI-related architecture/technology projects, preferably within a large enterprise environment
- Profound understanding of current AI technologies (ML models, LLMs, vector databases, RAG methods, modern frameworks)
- Experience in IT governance, product management, or AI-related application ownership
- Strong understanding of AI/GenAI lifecycle, enterprise software processes, and governance best practices
- Knowledge about AI project management, delivery, or technological evaluation as well as agile methodologies and DevOps practices
- Experience in creating solutions in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment
- Structured, independent, and analytical way of working, as well as a high willingness to learn
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving challenges
- Experience in managing and mentoring technical teams
- Very good knowledge of English, German is a plus.
