Overview
Rex.zone is hiring Mid-Senior engineers for remote, full-time computer coding jobs in Brazil. You will build and maintain production software in a remote-first workflow with online collaboration, code reviews, and documented engineering standards.
What You’ll Do
- Design, implement, and maintain software features aligned to product requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to clarify specs and edge cases
- Write production-quality code with security, performance, and readability in mind
- Create and maintain automated tests (unit/integration) and improve coverage
- Participate in code reviews, refactoring, and technical debt reduction
- Build and maintain APIs, services, and data integrations
- Monitor production systems, troubleshoot issues, and implement robust fixes
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and release processes to improve deployment safety
Required Qualifications
- Mid-Senior experience delivering production software in a team environment
- Proficiency in at least one backend language (e.g., Python) and modern web practices
- Strong Git workflows, pull requests, and code review standards
- Experience with REST APIs, database design, and SQL
- Knowledge of testing strategies, debugging, and performance tuning
- Clear communication in a remote, async-first environment
