Software Engineer – Generalist
We are a growing company looking to build a strong engineering team with talented and experienced software professionals.
We are seeking software engineers with strong technical fundamentals, sound engineering judgment, and a proven ability to solve complex problems. This opportunity is intentionally technology-agnostic, and we welcome engineers from a wide range of backgrounds, including backend, frontend, full-stack, cloud infrastructure, data engineering, AI/ML, DevOps, security, mobile development, and related disciplines.
Rather than hiring around a specific programming language or framework, we are focused on identifying strong engineers who can understand complex systems, write high-quality software, make thoughtful technical decisions, and adapt to new technologies when needed.
## Responsibilities
* Design, develop, test, and maintain reliable software systems
* Analyze technical requirements and develop practical, scalable solutions
* Contribute to architecture and engineering decisions
* Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
* Review code and help maintain strong engineering standards
* Troubleshoot complex technical issues and improve existing systems
* Collaborate effectively with engineers, product teams, and other stakeholders
* Learn and work with new technologies based on project requirements
## Qualifications
* Professional experience in software engineering or a closely related technical field
* Strong programming, debugging, and problem-solving skills
* Solid understanding of software engineering principles and system design
* Experience developing or maintaining production software
* Ability to understand unfamiliar codebases and technical environments
* Strong communication and collaboration skills
* Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical problems
* Willingness to learn technologies outside of your primary specialization
## Technology Background
There is no single required technology stack for this role.
We welcome candidates with experience across different languages, frameworks, platforms, and engineering disciplines. Your depth of experience, engineering fundamentals, and ability to solve real-world technical problems are more important than expertise in any particular technology.
