Role Description
The Senior & Junior Architect role is a full-time, on-site position based in Kottakkal. The Senior Architect will lead the planning, design, and development of architectural projects across residential, commercial, and hospitality sectors. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating and reviewing architectural drawings, coordinating with structural and MEP teams, and ensuring designs meet regulatory, safety, and sustainability standards. The role involves conducting site visits, supervising design implementation, and collaborating with project managers, engineers, and contractors to resolve design and construction issues. The Senior Architect will also interact with clients to understand requirements, present design concepts, and provide professional guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
- 4+ Years of experience for Senior Architect
- 1-2 years of experience for Junior Architect
- Demonstrated expertise in architectural design, space planning, and building layout for residential, commercial, and hospitality projects.
- proficiency in CAD and BIM tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp) and ability to produce detailed drawings and 3D visualizations.
- Sound knowledge of building codes, local regulations, construction methods, and sustainable design principles.
- Experience in project coordination, site supervision, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, client-facing, and presentation skills, with the ability to explain design concepts clearly.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture from an accredited institution; professional licensure or registration is an advantage.
- Several years of relevant experience in an architectural or construction firm, preferably in leadership or senior-level roles.
