In today’s dynamic environment, smart cost and profitability insights are essential for sustainable growth. At KPMG Belgium, our CFO Advisory team partners with CFOs and CEOs to go beyond traditional finance — helping them shape strategy, elevate performance, and create long‑term value.
We are looking for a Manager to join our Cost & Profitability Management team within CFO Advisory: someone who combines analytical strength with strong people skills, and who thrives in environments where collaboration and leadership matter.
This is a role where your voice, your expertise, and your leadership will directly influence client success. Consulting experience is not a plus — it is an absolute must.
Your Role & Responsibilities
In this Manager role, you will lead meaningful, high‑impact engagements that help clients improve cost efficiency, pricing strategies, and financial transparency. You will work in a diverse, multidisciplinary team where ideas are valued, and where you can shape the future of how organizations understand cost and profitability.
You Will
- Lead cost & profitability management projects from analysis through implementation, ensuring teams feel supported and empowered.
- Deliver tailored recommendations that help clients optimize cost structures, enhance product and customer profitability, and strengthen strategic decision‑making.
- Apply proven best practices in cost modeling, allocation methodologies, and financial performance analysis.
- Identify growth opportunities and play a key role in developing proposals and client presentations.
- Build strong, trusting relationships with client stakeholders and help expand KPMG’s presence in this space.
- Act as a mentor and coach for junior colleagues, fostering their development and encouraging inclusive team dynamics.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, technology evolutions, and tools that impact finance and costing — including emerging AI capabilities.
Skills & Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Engineering, or a related field.
- 5 to 10 years of experience in financial management consulting — this consulting background is essential.
- Demonstrated expertise in cost modeling, allocation methodologies, and profitability analysis.
- Experience in finance transformation, process improvement, and change management.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights.
- A high level of attention to detail and precision in financial reporting and modeling.
- Fluency in English and either Dutch or French (written and spoken).
- AI-ready leadership skills — confidently navigating AI topics and communicating them clearly to clients and colleagues.
We offer
- An attractive remuneration package with a great number of extra-legal benefits (premium electric company car + charging card, net daily and monthly allowances, bonus, smartphone and many other benefits tailored through our cafeteria plan).
- Flexible work arrangements to ensure a healthy work-life balance (picking up kids from school, doctor’s appointment, working from home,…) and the possibility to work from anywhere 20 days per year.
- Comprehensive insurance package including group insurance with full KPMG contributions, hospitalization insurance and optional outpatient options (dental & eye care, medical consultations and registered medication).
- Career development opportunities combined with trainings based on your personal goals and aspirations.
- An inclusive, international culture where personal growth, mutual trust and lifelong learning is fostered.
- A buddy and performance manager to support and guide you throughout your career at KPMG.
- Great team building activities and sport & wellbeing events (Brussels Marathon, Antwerp 10 Miles, 1000 kilometers for KOTK, river clean-ups, plant a tree and many more…) through our Together@KPMG & KPMG Foundation programs.
