About the Role
We are looking for a
Technology Business Analyst
to support technology initiatives focused on
digitalisation, process improvement, workflow automation and management reporting
.
You will work closely with business users, process owners, technology delivery teams, testing teams and other stakeholders to understand requirements, improve existing processes and support the implementation of technology and automation solutions.
Candidates with relevant academic, internship or project experience may also be considered.
Key Responsibilities
Gather, analyse and document requirements from business users, process owners and technology stakeholders.
Translate business requirements into clear
functional requirements, user stories and process flows
.
Analyse existing workflows and document
as-is and to-be processes
.
Identify opportunities to streamline manual workflows through
process improvement, digitalisation and automation
.
Support initiatives involving
management reporting, dashboards and workflow automation
.
Perform impact assessments and support effort estimation for system and process changes.
Work closely with business, development and testing teams throughout the
Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
.
Support
SIT and UAT
, including test coordination, defect tracking and defect triage.
Analyse test findings and assist in classifying them as defects, data issues or change requests.
Track project and workstream deliverables, timelines, issues and dependencies.
Monitor requirement changes and highlight potential scope changes to project leads.
Support project leads with project tracking, coordination and regular status reporting.
Maintain accurate project, process and workflow documentation.
Prepare management reports and presentations using
Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
.
Collaborate with stakeholders across technology, governance, process assurance, resource management, risk and compliance functions.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in
Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems
or a related discipline.
0–3 years of relevant experience
in Technology Business Analysis, System Analysis, IT Project Delivery or a related technology function is preferred.
Candidates with relevant academic, internship or project experience may also be considered.
Understanding of
Business Analysis, requirements gathering and IT project delivery
.
Basic understanding of the
Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
.
Ability to document
requirements, user stories and business/process flows
.
Basic working knowledge of
SQL
.
Familiarity with
JIRA and Confluence
.
Understanding of
SIT, UAT, software testing and defect management
.
Proficiency in
Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.
Ability to manage multiple activities and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills / Experience
Exposure to
Banking, Financial Services or FinTech
environments.
Exposure to
digital banking or banking technology projects
.
Experience or knowledge of
process automation and workflow automation
.
Exposure to
management reporting or dashboard development
.
Knowledge of tools such as
Power BI, Power Automate, Tableau or Python
would be advantageous.
Exposure to
Agile/Scrum
technology delivery environments.
