1. PROCESS IMPROVEMENT TECHNICIAN

Job Summary
We are looking for a hands-on Process Improvement Technician to support daily manufacturing operations, process troubleshooting, machine setting verification and continuous improvement activities.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Process Engineer, Production, Maintenance, Toolroom and Quality teams to ensure process issues are properly attended, recorded, followed up and resolved.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend and follow up daily manufacturing process and machine abnormalities.
- Support the Process Engineer in troubleshooting production and process-related issues.
- Record machine/process problems, findings, actions and follow-up status.
- Coordinate Maintenance or Toolroom support when required and follow up until the issue is resolved.
- Support OEE, downtime, cycle time, productivity, scrap and process improvement activities.
- Perform and support machine/process setting verification, including equipment such as leak testers.
- Support process trials, new machine/tooling trials and data collection.
- Monitor approved process parameters and ensure settings remain within specified limits.
- Support jig, fixture and tooling improvement activities.
- Assist with root cause investigation and corrective action for process-related defects.
- Support kaizen, line improvement and productivity improvement activities.
- Follow work priorities and instructions assigned by the Process Engineer.
- Obtain approval from the Process Engineer before changing assigned priorities or supporting other departments.
- Perform other process engineering support activities as assigned.
Requirements
- SPM / SKM / Certificate / Diploma in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Mechatronics or related technical field.
- Manufacturing experience is an advantage; fresh graduates with good hands-on ability may be considered.
- Able to work independently, follow up assigned tasks and report work status clearly.
- Good problem-solving attitude and willingness to work hands-on on the production floor.
- Able to use basic measuring equipment.
Added advantages, but not compulsory:
Mechanical hands-on skills, basic electrical knowledge, pneumatic/hydraulic systems, welding/fabrication, PLC/basic sensors and machine troubleshooting experience.
Pay: From RM2,000.00 per month
