About the role

DNV Industrial Product Assurance is vertical within the Offshore Class organization.

DNV Industrial Product Assurance service portfolio is set up to certify equipment for industries to operate safely. With DNV’s global presence and deep expertise our work gives customers the confidence and “license to operate” in some of the world’s most demanding environments.

Through independent testing, inspection, certification, and related support services, we assure compliance with international standards, EU directives, and national regulations enabling market access and reducing risk.

Business Development executive will be responsible for Industrial Product Assurance within the areas of Hazardous Area, Welding, Pressure Equipment, Construction Products, Machinery, and Battery. scheme service portfolio.

Responsibilities

- This role will be responsible to manage IPA Australia operation activities

- Maintain existing JAS/NZS accreditation and coordinate with accreditation body

- Participate in sales activities and perform client audits

- Develop go to market activities including identifying and meeting with existing and potential clients

- Responsible to achieve IPA Australia business targets

- Enhance Industrial Product Assurance customer base in Australia

- Shall have ability to deal with client executive management

- Ensure good relationship with team and other stakeholders

About you

Position Qualification

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or a related discipline, with relevant experience in Industrial Product Certification.

- Minimum 10 years of experience, preferably with a JAS-ANZ accredited certification body in Australia.

- Strong knowledge of product certification schemes applicable in Australia, including the WaterMark Scheme (WMTS-012, WMTS-028, WMTS-040, WMTS-1172, AS 3497, AS 3718, AS 4129, AS 4130, AS 3662), Gas Cylinder Test Station Scheme (AS 2337), and Product Mark Schemes (AS 3669, AS 4129, AS 4130, AS 3571). Familiarity with relevant EU directives and standards such as CPR, ISO 3834, and Ex certification is essential.

- Self-driven, proactive, and highly motivated professional.

- Strong customer relationship management and client service skills.

- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across diverse stakeholders.

- Proven ability to drive business growth and expand certification services across the Australian market.

- Candidates currently based in Australia will be given preference.

Security and compliance with statutory requirements in the countries in which we operate is essential for DNV. Background checks will be conducted on all final candidates as part of the offer process, in accordance with applicable country-specific laws and practices.
