Role: AI Strategy and Transformation Architect
Location: Remote
JOB DESCRIPTION
Satellite Teams is looking for an AI Strategy and Transformation Architect who will partner directly
with business owners and executives to deeply understand their operations, identify high-impact AI
and offshore opportunities, and design practical, scalable AI-enabled operating models.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Business Discovery & Diagnostic Deep Dives
- Partner with business owners to conduct end-to-end operational deep dives
- Map current-state workflows across:
o Sales
o Marketing
o Operations
o Finance
o Customer support
o Back-office functions
- Identify:
o Bottlenecks
o Manual processes
o Cost leaks
o Scalability constraints
- Assess AI readiness across people, data, processes, and tools
AI & Offshore Strategy Design
- Architect a practical AI roadmap aligned to business goals and maturity
- Identify and prioritize:
o AI use cases with clear ROI
o Quick wins vs. long-term transformation initiatives
- Design offshore + AI operating models, including:
o What should be offshored
o What should be AI-assisted
o What should be automated end-to-end
- Translate AI capabilities into business-language recommendations
Solution Architecture & Tool Selection
- Evaluate and recommend:
o AI tools (LLMs, RPA, copilots, analytics, automation platforms)
o SaaS platforms and integrations
- Define:
o System architecture (high-level)
o Data flow and governance considerations
- Ensure solutions are:
o Secure
o Scalable
o Cost-effective
o Easy for offshore teams to adopt
Implementation Oversight & Enablement
- Oversee AI and offshore implementation initiatives
- Define:
o Implementation plans
o Success metrics and KPIs
o Change management approach
- Ensure adoption through:
o Playbooks
o SOPs
o Training and enablement sessions
Stakeholder Communications
- Act as a trusted advisor to business owners
- Facilitate strategic conversations around:
o Workforce transformation
o AI ethics and risk
o Organizational design
- Present recommendations clearly to non-technical audiences
Continuous Optimization & Innovation
- Monitor performance and outcomes of AI-enabled workflows
- Iterate on solutions as tools and business needs evolve
- Stay current on:
o AI trends
o New tools and platforms
o Regulatory and ethical considerations
- Continuously develop new AI + offshore use cases for clients
SKILLS NEEDED:
- Strong business acumen across multiple functions
- Ability to translate business problems into AI opportunities
- Executive-level communication and presentation skills
- Strong understanding of:
o Generative AI (LLMs, copilots, agents)
o Workflow automation and RPA
o Data analytics and AI-assisted decision-making
- Ability to assess tools
- Familiarity with AI governance, security, and risk considerations
- Experience designing or managing offshore teams
- Understanding of:
o Role segmentation
o Process documentation
o AI-assisted productivity for offshore staff
- Ability to blend human + AI workflows effectively
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
- 8–10+ years of experience in one or more of the following:
o Management consulting
o Digital transformation
o Operations leadership
o AI strategy or enterprise technology strategy
- Proven experience:
o Leading cross-functional initiatives
o Designing and implementing technology-enabled transformations
o Demonstrated expertise in data architecture and data management best practices
- Experience working directly with non-technical business owners or C-suite leaders
Preferred Experience in:
o SMB or mid-market environments
o Offshore or distributed teams
o Professional services, BPO, or staffing models
- Exposure to:
o SaaS ecosystems
o AI platforms and copilots
o Automation tools (Zapier, Make, RPA, etc.)
