We are looking for a highly proactive, organized and resourceful Founder’s Office Intern who will work directly with the founders and help convert ideas, discussions and decisions into structured execution.
In an early-stage startup, founders work across multiple areas such as hiring, product, marketing, operations, partnerships, research and business development.
The Founder’s Office Intern will act as an execution and coordination layer around the founders.
Whenever a new idea, requirement or task comes up, the intern will help:
Understand it → Document it → Break it into actions → Find the required resources → Assign/coordinate → Follow up → Track progress → Ensure closure
This is not a traditional administrative internship. The role requires ownership, strong follow-up skills, problem solving and the ability to get things done.
Key Responsibilities1. Founder Task & Idea Management
Capture ideas, decisions and action items coming from founders.
Convert informal discussions into:
· Clear tasks
· Action points
· Priorities
· Owners
· Deadlines
· Dependencies
· Follow-up schedules
Maintain a central tracker so important ideas and tasks do not get lost.
2. Execution & Follow-ups
Track whether assigned work is actually moving forward.
Responsibilities include:
· Regularly following up with team members
· Checking task progress
· Identifying delays
· Understanding blockers
· Coordinating required resources
· Escalating important issues
· Ensuring tasks reach closure
The objective is not simply to remind people, but to help move work forward.
3. Hiring Coordination
Support founders with hiring requirements across different functions.
This may include:
· Understanding hiring requirements
· Drafting Job Descriptions
· Publishing job openings
· Searching for candidates
· Screening basic profiles
· Coordinating interviews
· Maintaining candidate trackers
· Taking interview follow-ups
· Coordinating with candidates
· Tracking offers and joining status
4. Resource Identification & Coordination
Whenever founders need a resource, vendor, freelancer, employee, agency, software, consultant or external partner, the intern should help identify appropriate options.
Examples:
· Finding designers
· Developers
· Marketing agencies
· Freelancers
· Content creators
· Vendors
· Consultants
· Technology tools
· SaaS platforms
· Property partners
· Business service providers
Research options, compare them and present the best alternatives to the founders.
5. Documentation
Convert discussions and founder inputs into structured documents such as:
· Requirement documents
· Meeting notes
· Action plans
· SOPs
· Job descriptions
· Research briefs
· Project briefs
· Comparison sheets
· Task trackers
· Internal process documents
The candidate should be able to take an unstructured idea and convert it into something the team can execute.
6. Project Coordination
Coordinate small internal projects across departments.
Work may involve:
· Product
· Technology
· Hiring
· Marketing
· Operations
· Finance
· Business development
· Partnerships
· Research
Track:
Task → Owner → Deadline → Status → Blocker → Next Action
7. Meeting Management
Support founder meetings by:
· Preparing agendas
· Gathering required information
· Documenting decisions
· Recording action items
· Assigning responsibilities
· Tracking deadlines
· Following up after meetings
Every important meeting should result in clearly defined actions.
8. Priority Management
Help founders maintain visibility across ongoing initiatives.
Create simple dashboards showing:
· What is currently happening
· What is pending
· What is delayed
· What requires founder approval
· What is blocked
· What is completed
· What needs attention next
9. Cross-Team Coordination
Work with different teams to ensure information flows properly.
For example:
Founder gives requirement → Intern structures it → Relevant team receives it → Work gets tracked → Blockers are resolved → Founder receives final update
The role should reduce the amount of operational follow-up the founders personally need to perform.
10. Research & Quick Problem Solving
Founders may frequently require quick research.
Examples:
· Find the best hiring platform for a role
· Compare software options
· Find a vendor
· Research competitors
· Identify agencies
· Compare pricing
· Find potential partners
· Understand a new market or opportunity
· Prepare background research before a meeting
The intern should be comfortable learning unfamiliar topics quickly.
Core Objective of the Role
The Founder’s Office Intern should ensure:
Founder Idea → Structured Plan → Resource → Execution → Follow-up → Completion
The role exists to make sure good ideas do not remain only discussions.

What We ARE Looking For
Someone who thinks:
