Storyboard Living is looking for an experienced Apartment Maintenance Technician to join our team.
This position is based out of our Fairview Heights office and supports multiple Storyboard Living apartment
communities throughout the Metro East area. You'll travel to different communities based on where you're
needed and help keep our residents' homes and communities running smoothly.

What You'll Do
HVAC troubleshooting and repairs
Plumbing repairs
Basic electrical repairs
Appliance troubleshooting and repair
Apartment turnovers and make-readies
Drywall, painting, carpentry and general repairs
Preventative maintenance
Responding to resident work orders
Helping diagnose problems and getting them fixed correctly the first time
Supporting different Storyboard communities based on daily maintenance needs
Participating in the on-call rotation
Keeping work areas, tools and equipment safe and organized
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone with solid hands-on maintenance experience - you do not need to be an
expert in every trade.
The right candidate will have:
Previous apartment, residential, facilities or general maintenance experience
Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical and general repairs
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
A valid driver's license and ability to travel between Storyboard communities
Good communication skills and a professional attitude with residents
Ability to work independently while also being part of a maintenance team
A willingness to jump in and help wherever needed
HVAC certification and multifamily maintenance experience are a plus.
