Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Night Auditor/Van Driver to join our vibrant team. This dual-role position combines the responsibilities of overseeing overnight hotel operations, ensuring guest satisfaction, and providing safe, reliable transportation for our guests. Responsibilities
- Conduct the nightly audit process by reconciling accounts, updating financial records, and preparing reports to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Provide exceptional guest services by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere at the front desk during overnight hours.
- Manage multi-line phone systems with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and clear communication skills.
- Assist guests with check-in/check-out procedures when needed and handle guest requests with enthusiasm and efficiency.
- Operate hotel shuttle vans or transportation vehicles safely, adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols to transport guests around the resort or local area.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area while ensuring all guest-related documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth overnight operations and uphold the hotel’s high standards of hospitality management.
Experience
- Previous experience in hotel management, front desk operations, or guest services within a resort or hospitality environment is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of night audit procedures and hotel management systems.
- Multilingual abilities or bilingual skills are highly desirable to enhance guest relations across diverse populations.
- Excellent customer service skills combined with professional phone etiquette and experience handling multi-line phone systems.
- Demonstrated ability to manage guest relations effectively while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure.
- Familiarity with hospitality management principles, hotel experience, and resort operations will set candidates apart.
