Under the guidance and direct supervision of a supervisor and/or mentor: DO owner relations support; research and resolve inquiries and issues related to DOI ownership and payments; maintain and update revenue decks through ownership transfers; maintain and update joint interest billing decks; ensure the alignment of interests in Well Master, JVA and PRA; recognize and develop solutions for non-routine ownership issues and payments.
Essential Roles & Responsibilities

Liaison with company owner relations representative supporting and coordinating DO owner relations functions and requests, providing top tier customer service to our external stakeholders

Answer inquiries from other departments, companies, and interest owners

Maintain revenue and JIB decks

Ensure alignment of Company interest between systems of record (Well Master/JVA/PRA)

Process pay code changes and ownership transfers under guidance/supervision of mentor or higher-level analysts

Mentor Land Administration Techs
-
Continually research, interpret and deliver relevant and necessary information to perform operations
-
Establish and cultivate strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Conduct business with the highest ethical standards; demonstrate decision-making skills that ensure the safety of all persons associated with SM facilities

Computer/Software Applications

Demonstrates solid understanding of Office/PC skills and effective use of Microsoft Office applications.

Basic knowledge and willingness to learn company specific computer software and applications.
Role-Specific Technical Knowledge & Skills

Basic understanding of oil and gas lease forms, payout scenarios, the escheat process.

Basic understanding of title, types of ownership, conveyance instruments, suspended funds, statutory regulations/requirements as they relate to revenue and joint interest billing.

Demonstrates focus and commitment to customer service when communicating with external stakeholders.
Typical Education
Bachelor’s degree in law, petroleum management or business preferred

Recent college graduates or individuals with 0-2 years of related experience
