Let's connect: If you want to experience how things are done in the RVS Reinsurance Valuation & Steering team at our headquarters in Hannover / Germany, join us on a permanent basis, commencing at the earliest possible date as a Financial Controller, Group Performance Management. Together with an international network of colleagues across Controlling, Accounting, and Capital Management, you contribute to the financial management of the Hannover Re Group. You provide transparency on key performance and value drivers, develop robust decision-making frameworks for management, and play an active role in enhancing our planning and management processes.
You can look forward to
Support the management of financial and accounting results in accordance with HGB and IFRS
Analyze the Group’s financial performance and identify key value and earnings drivers
Actively contribute to Group-wide planning, forecasting, and performance management processes
Continuously develop and enhance existing methods and tools for corporate performance management
Examine strategic topics related to capital management, value creation, and corporate steering
Collaborate closely with the Executive Board and central finance functions, providing sound decision-making support
You come equipped with
Successfully completed degree in Business Administration, Business Mathematics, Mathematics, or a comparable quantitative field of study
Several years of professional experience in controlling, corporate performance management, capital management, or financial reporting, ideally within the (re)insurance industry
Strong knowledge of HGB and IFRS accounting standards as well as a deep understanding of financial and economic interrelationships
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills for complex financial analyses, management reporting, and the effective presentation of decision-relevant information to different target audiences
Business-fluent German and English language skills
Strong analytical and communication skills, combined with the ability to address ad hoc requests effectively, manage priorities in a dynamic environment, and collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders, including senior management stakeholders
