Summary
Drive truck over established route to deliver product, collect money from customers, and providing optimal service ensuring positive customer experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Drive truck to deliver bakery products, specialty foods, frozen, refrigerated, ambient food to customers.
Collect money or checks from customers, record transactions on customer receipt to ensure any applicable changes or credits.
Write customer order and instructions to update as needed.
Record sales or delivery information on daily sales or delivery record.
Inform regular customers of new products or services.
Listen to customer to assist with resolution of service complaints.
Place stock on customer shelves or racks as indicated providing white glove service.
Set up merchandise and sales promotion displays or issue sales promotion materials to customers.
Collect or pick up empty containers or rejected or unsold merchandise.
Load truck.
Ensure customer approval and customer signature is obtained and registered on receipt for either pickup or delivery.
Ensure cleanliness of truck both inside and outside.
Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip checks to ensure maintenance logs are updated accordingly for truck.
Additional responsibilities will apply as directed by management based on the needs of the company.
- As the lead / assigned driver of a truck, the driver is in charge of the route and any assigned helper.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. This includes:

Pay: $26.00 - $29.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 – 55.0 per week
