We are looking for a strong AI Engineer / Forward-Deployed Engineer to build practical AI-powered tools and automation solutions for our businesses.
The role focuses on turning manual business processes into reliable software. This could include automating research, working with spreadsheets and reports, moving data between systems, or building AI tools that save teams significant time.
There is no fixed list of projects. The work will change based on business needs, so we are looking for someone who can independently understand a problem, determine the right technical approach, build the solution, test it, and deliver it.
Key Responsibilities
- Build AI-powered internal tools and business automation solutions.
- Convert manual business workflows into reliable software.
- Develop tools for research, reporting, data processing and workflow automation.
- Integrate different systems and services using APIs.
- Build and maintain MCP servers and AI agent workflows.
- Implement LLM-based solutions including tool calling, context management and multi-agent handoffs.
- Work with Excel and CSV data and normalize messy business data into consistent schemas.
- Design, test and evaluate AI/agent outputs for reliability and accuracy.
- Troubleshoot existing tools, integrations and automation workflows.
- Take ownership of projects from understanding the problem through development, testing and deployment.
- Work independently with limited technical instructions and turn rough business requirements into working solutions.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong, production-level Python experience.
- Strong experience with REST APIs and integrations.
- Practical knowledge of OAuth, authentication, rate limiting and token refresh.
- Hands-on experience building or working with MCP servers.
- Experience with LLM orchestration, tool calling, multi-agent workflows and context management.
- Experience building AI agents or AI-powered applications.
- Knowledge of AI evaluation and testing, including validating agent outputs beyond simple happy-path testing.
- Strong experience with Pandas, Excel and CSV data processing.
- Ability to normalize and structure messy business data.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Ability to break an unclear business problem into defined technical steps with clear inputs and outputs.
- Experience taking software projects from development to testing and final delivery.
Preferred Candidate
We are looking for a software engineer who has moved into AI, rather than someone who only knows how to use AI tools.
The ideal candidate:
- Works independently without needing step-by-step instructions.
- Can handle different types of technical problems.
- Takes ownership of projects from start to finish.
- Can understand a business problem and determine how to solve it technically.
- Has a track record of actually building and delivering working software.
- Is comfortable working in a fast-changing environment where priorities and projects can change frequently.

Note: This role is focused on practical AI engineering and business automation. It is not a Data Scientist or ML Researcher position.
Pay: ₹260,000.00 - ₹360,000.00 per year
